I modeled this USAC sprint car for iRacing.com's motorsport simulation. In order to achieve an accurate model I worked from a combination of photographs and point cloud data. The model is 11,500 triangles and was built over a period of a week and a half.

My primary job responsibility at iRacing was building track side objects. At Daytona I did the modeling for most of the buildings around the track. My workflow invloved using laser scan data as reference and then building several LOD stages for each object. The triangle count for a typical track side object range from 50-500.
